Indeed it seems Wasteland is broken in OpenTTD 14+ when starting in the intended year. Of course starting in 2078 or later and/or using another road set as others have suggested will work as a temporary fix for now, you just won't get the destroyed roads to start.

I'll have to look when I get a chance to see what's going wrong, but I think there was a change in OpenTTD some months ago in the way it handles hidden roadtypes, so I suspect it's just something silly on my part, and it should (hopefully) be an easy fix. For now though I've restricted Wasteland from being downloaded on Bananas on OpenTTD 14+ clients to prevent any further confusion.

hm okay it's about 30% less dense also, i gotta configure uploading images to a host so i can insert pics easier

that, too, may be a feature. copy-pasting images onto porom may upload them to a server selected either by the user or the admin. porom will still formally keep none of the user files.

have you tried the peachy theme? i reduced the overall margins and increased the width of posts and the page on it.
i'm considering a theme to use horizontal space more efficiently, but the default one will stay as is.

that was the eventual goal, but i haven't been able to find an image hoster that a) doesn't suck and b) has an api. i get it, hosting images AND allowing hotlinking to them is expensive
