Oh shiet I forgot about the babycode guide. That base is covered now.

it's an interesting idea, but i have a few points that i'd like some discussion first. what do we do about non-standard formatted text? that can't show up in the embeds. i guess it may be acceptable to have another parse path for babycode to create a preview for every post that will just be plain text but it'd look strange either way. i'm also not sure what to embed: the first post of a thread? linked post? there are permalinks to posts so it shouldn't be trouble to see if the requested url is a permalink or just the thread link.

the biggest problem is the sheer amount of STUFF for opengraph and twitter embeds to look somewhat ok. of course, once it's done it's done, but its a lot of boring work tbh.

and lastly, im personally not really a fan of embeds to begin with. but if peeps want this, i wont stand in their way

Notifications API integration.

Porom already has in-site notifications for followed threads, and making possible for those to work without having the tab opened would be a godsend for specifically me, who forgets it exists from time to time. And, well, for everyone. Could move onto here with bit more ease if it comes to it.

for statistics, there could be a panel saying: last week we've seen activity from 4 peeps ! awesome !

also, each thread could have count of overall people that ever visited it as well as in last X period time
